Although Orkut launched v2, many of users got addicted to older version. In v2 of Orkut some extra features were enabled and this trick is one of them.

Common we'll give a try now =)

- Step 1 -

Have a song in your Mind =)

Get a working Mp3 Link of that song...

For Eg : http://123musiq.com/SOURCE/Telugu/Telugu%20Mp3/Vedam/08%20-%20Vedam%20-%20Karthik.mp3

Remember , A Mp3 link always ends with .mp3

Sites Given Below will help to get mp3 links

www.123musiq.com For Hindi , Malayalam ,Telugu , Tamil
www.skreemr.com For English
www.songs.pk For Hindi

Note : If you didn't find your favorite song in above mentioned sites, you can upload your song by own using webs.com.

- Step 2 -

Visit to www.Orkut.com

If u are using new orkut , Switch to older version

- Step 3 -

Go to your scrap book of Your Orkut ( Older Version )

- Step 4 -

Copy the below Html code and Paste it into your old Orkut Scrapbook

- Step 5 -

Replace the stars ******* with your mp3 link
After Replacing stars with mp3 link & click preview

Dont add any space after .mp3 and = sign
example: file=http://123musiq.com/SOURCE/Telugu/Telugu%20Mp3/Vedam/08%20-%20Vedam%20-%20Karthik.mp3

Now the Code will be :

Copy the code and click on "preview". (note : change the file link to your file)

- Step 6 -

If You can hear the song playing in the preview
then select and copy *.* from the preview.

- Step 7 -

Switch To New Orkut .

Go To Your New Orkut Profile and Paste the *.* in your 'About me' box.

Imp : Only paste it in your new orkut profile not inside Old Orkut about me

PS : Try Not To Remove The *.* From About Me

Its will look lil annoying But It will help u to delete the song when u are bored. If you feel annoying change the dimensions of width and height in the embedded code. Change them to 3 or 5 and continue the process.
