Add Additional Time Servers

Thursday, May 7, 2009 Leave a Comment

Windows lets you synchronise your system clock with a server on the Internet.
If you didn’t know about it, double-click on the time and click on the Internet time tab.
Check “Automatically synchronize with an Internet time server” to enable it. At times, the servers may be down. To add servers, in the Registry Editor, browse to

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\DateTime\Servers.

Here, create new String Values with names like 3 , 4, and so on. Double-click on them to enter the Value(s), and enter the server address(es).
